Have a trophy photo or a prized breeder buck you'd like preserved as fine art? I create custom original charcoal powder paintings on canvas from your reference photographs.
How it works
- Reach out. Send your photos and tell me about the animal.
- We plan the piece. We'll agree on size — I work 36x48 or larger — composition, and framing, and I'll confirm whether your photos will work (see below).
- I draw. You'll receive progress updates as the piece comes to life in the studio.
- Delivery. Your finished original is carefully packed and shipped, ready to hang — or we can arrange a local meetup or an agreed destination within a 2-hour drive of Uvalde, TX.
What photos I need
Good reference makes all the difference. Sharp, well-lit photos taken at eye level with the animal work best — multiple angles are a bonus. Phone photos are fine as long as they're clear and high-resolution. If your photos aren't quite there, ask me — I can often work with what you have or suggest alternatives.
Timeline
Each piece takes about 4–8 weeks depending on size, volume, and my current queue — I work on commissions around my full-time dental work schedule.
